Carrera digital 1/32 racing against ghost cars. Since I have tight radius turns, the ghost cars have to be set slow, otherwise they de-slot every lap. To counter this, I give them an 18 lap head start. I also have to pit for fuel while they do not.
Carrera only counts the lap of one ghost car, but you can run up to 5, I believe.
Special thanks to Garage Maker Guy for the inspiration and plans for banked lighting and catch fence. It’s a pain to print and install, but it works really well and looks fantastic.
I use SmartRace app to run the races. I cast from an iPad to an Amazon Fire TV. You have to use the AirScreen app to mirror the iPad display. It works great.
Colored lighting under the elevated section is just cheap $10 TV backlights from Home Depot. Elevated supports are the clear plastic housings from some of my cars. They work really well, give you plenty of visibility and help accentuate the colored lights.
