My Weaving Process: Creating a Statement Scarf (for an Art Auction!)

I made a pair of blue scarves, one of which I donated to the Youth Art Collective’s Virtual Art Auction Fundraiser, and a matching one for myself! YAC is a nonprofit after-school art studio and mentorship program based in my hometown of Monterey, California that provides local high school and college students with art supplies, studio space, art training, exhibition and commission opportunities, individual mentoring, and an incredible community. I had the privilege of participating in this program during my senior year of high school and it was an unforgettable experience, so I wanted to make something special for them :)
