📝 Preparations are underway for the construction of another modern cricket stadium in Islamabad as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has officially issued a tender for the project.

The stadium will be built near Sector D-12, and tenders have been invited through an e-bidding process. To participate, interested companies must submit a bid security of Rs120 million, while the deadline for bid submission is February 16.

According to the CDA, the project will be executed under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode, meaning a single firm will be responsible for the complete design, construction, and delivery of the stadium.

The new cricket stadium is being seen as a major step toward the promotion of sports in the federal capital and is expected to help Islamabad host national and international cricket events in the future.
