Rakugaki Mario is a collab hack released in 2022 which goal was to make something in the spirit of 2007-2009 japanese hacks. One of its main features is the use of legacy tools like Lunar Magic 1.63 (which became lately my favorite version), AddMusic 4.04 and SpriteTool.
The level was initially made for Nova Concept aka my SIG tribute romhack back in early 2020. As a level was needed for the world 1 castle (and Nova Concept was abandoned as the collab was ran), this level was chosen to fit this spot.
Fun fact: the level was named 'Ruins of Something' before its actual name. At least the actual name is quite accurate lol.
