Hello everyone!
My name is LAILA KHOERUNISSA, and today I’m going to tell you a beautiful story called LAILA AND MEDICINE BOX.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoy telling it!
laila and the Medicine Box
One sunny morning, a cheerful girl named Laila woke up feeling a little sick.
Her head hurt, so she went to the kitchen to find some medicine.
She opened a small box full of bottles and tablets.
Without thinking much, she took one tablet—
but then she saw the label.
It said, “Expired six months ago!”
Laila was shocked and ran to her mom.
“Mom! The medicine is expired! What if I already took it?” she said nervously.
Her mom smiled and said,
“That’s why we must always check the label before taking any medicine, Laila.
Old or expired medicine can be dangerous.”
So, Laila and her mom cleaned the medicine box together.
Some bottles were sticky, and some labels were hard to read.
They washed their hands, threw away the expired medicines,
and kept the rest in a clean, dry place—away from sunlight and heat.
When they finished, her mom smiled proudly.
“Good job, Laila! Clean hands and proper storage keep our medicine safe and our family healthy.”
Since that day, Laila became the medicine guardian in her family.
Every month, she checks the medicine box, wipes the bottles, and reminds her parents:
“Always wash your hands, check the label, and store medicine properly—
because clean habits keep us safe and healthy!”
