Rap and hip-hop artist Matt Allen, known as ‘Nur-D’, has been arrested following his attendance at an anti-Immigration & Customs Enforcement protest.
Footage of the arrest showed the rapper flipping the bird, seemingly at law enforcement officers, before he was tackled to the ground and arrested.
Nur-D’s arrest followed the shooting of 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti, the second fatal shooting by an ICE agent in Minnesota.
The rapper’s arrest came during an anti-ICE protest, where demonstrators and law enforcement clashed.
During his arrest, the artist could be heard screaming, “I have done nothing at all” before revealing he was a US citizen.
