Tabernacle Organist, Clay Christiansen, performs his final Music & The Spoken Word organ solo before retiring at the end of April 2018. He performs his own transcription of Edvard Grieg's "Morning Mood," from Peer Gynt Suite.
Clay was appointed Tabernacle Organist in 1982, and will be retiring after 36 years in the position. As of April 2018, there have only been a total of 21 Tabernacle Organists, with Clay Christiansen coming in at number 16. He is greatly loved by the entire Mormon Tabernacle Choir organization and will be missed.
