Tower Of Power - Oakland Stroke [BASS COVER] - with notation and tabs

Описание: Can't get enough Tower Of Power. This track was originally cut in half, and the halves can be found as the first and last track on TOP's "Back To Oakland" record from 1974. Absolutely signature Rocco finger-style funk and ridiculous linear drumming from David Garibaldi. For this one I tried to show you the technique that Rocco uses on pretty much every Tower tune - his famous left-hand muting. Basically the index (and sometimes middle) finger "plays" every note, and the ring and pinky finger gently rest on the string, to mute it. The result is a palm-mute-type effect, while still having all the mobility of your right-hand fingers to play those 16ths. This one might be a good candidate to slow down if you're trying to learn it - use the speed options right in the youtube window! "Settings" cog in the lower right - speed - 0.75 or even 0.5!
