At our Chennai campus, Anandam 2025 celebrated the theme ‘Journey Across Borders: Stories of Migrations’, an exploration of how movement shapes who we are. The performance brought together music, dance, theatre, and visual arts to reflect the shared human journey of hope, resilience, and belonging. Each expression on stage was rooted in the school’s belief that learning extends beyond classrooms, finding meaning in culture, collaboration, and creativity.
Through fifteen stories woven together by the metaphor of Jonathan Livingston Seagull’s flight, students reflected on migration not just as a passage through geography, but as a journey of the spirit. They discovered how every culture carries stories of struggle and triumph, and how art can transform memory into meaning.
At its heart, Journey Across Borders was a celebration of empathy and connection to history. It reinforced that true learning lies in understanding our shared humanity and that every creative expression brings us closer to harmony, both within and beyond borders.
