Описание: Welcome back to History Repeating, a radio show run completely by first-year university students at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). The goal of our show is to introduce the music of great artists from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, to new audiences, while also allowing fans to hear some lesser-known songs from the artists they already love!
Each episode features an in-depth interview with the artists being featured. These aren't just your typical interviews, we ask the artists all kinds of questions, from their opinions of underrated songs, early memories they have in the industry, what being an artist is like for them today, and so much more! We were honored to interview Louvain Demps, legendary backing vocalist for Motown. Louvain was part of The Andantes, Motown's studio backing group, along with other members Jackie Hicks and Marlene Barrow. The Andantes were Motown's secret weapon, singing on over 20,000 songs, even if they weren't always credited.
