Mosca Campground | Free Camping | Great Sand Dunes National Park

Описание: Planning to camp near Colorado's Great Sand Dunes National Park? The Mosca Campground in San Luis Lakes State Wildlife Area offers a great camping experience, just 15 miles north of the dunes. It is located in Hooper, Colorado. Here's everything you need to know about camping here!

Highlights:
51 campsites, some with free 20/30/50-amp electrical hookups.
Amenities: Fire rings, wind shelters, picnic tables, vault toilets, and a dumpster.
No potable water: Bring your own.
Dump station: Available but without water.

Permit Requirements:
Colorado law requires anyone over 16 to have a valid fishing or hunting license or a state wildlife area pass to use the campground, including for camping.
This is a state pass, not a federal one, so passes from Great Sand Dunes National Park won’t apply.
Licenses/passes can be purchased locally, including at Walmart in Alamosa.
The campground host (site A1) will check for licenses or passes.
No additional camping fees apply if you already have the required pass or license.
