In the view of one of the fastest emerging economic nations of the world, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Oct 16 said that India can achieve a $2 Trillion export economy by the year 2030. “We want to see the country become an economy of more than 30 trillion dollars by 2047. In the next 8 years, we wish to see a 3X performance so that we can be a $2 trillion export economy and not only can India achieve this but exceed this by 2030,” he said.
