What is the winter like in Perth?
As far I know the three coldest months are June, July and August, however, you can feel the winter is coming during the transitional months from March to May, especially in the middle of May which is Autumn. So, the winter is relatively long and cold with temperatures ranging from 3°-19°C and it rains a lot! there are occasional storms and sunny days, but still cold.
Something that I've noticed in this period of time is that in Western Australia the rain doesn't stop anyone from having fun, going to work, school or doing any activities, even going to the beach can often still be enjoyable. Also, there are many things to do in Perth when is winter such as celebrating Christmas in July or going to the Winter festival, if you are an International student you can join as many events as you want for free. General speaking winter in Perth is nice and fun!
