Ahmedabad is India's 7th largest city, with a population of over 6 million. It has a rapidly booming economy of over $68 billion. The western city of India is also known as ‘Manchester of the East’ for its textile industry which is a major contributor to the economy. The city houses some of the major Indian companies like Zydus Cadila and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Nirma Group, Adani Group among others.

In this video, we will explore some major infra projects happening in the city which will further solidify Ahmedabad as India's key growth engine, and keep the city competitive amongst other booming cities in the country's west coast. They include:
1. Motera cricket stadium
2. Ahmedabad metro rail system
3. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city)
4. Sabarmati riverfront expansion
5. Sabarmati bullet train station

This video only includes projects taking place inside the city limits of Ahmedabad. Other major projects like the Gandhinagar railway redevelopment is not included as it is not inside the city limits.
