In today’s training session, we took her outside to work on leash skills, helping her stay focused, walk politely, and handle real-world distractions.

Outdoor leash training is an important step because it adds new sights, sounds, and smells that challenge a dog’s ability to stay engaged with the handler. Sadie is learning how to walk with a loose leash, check in with her trainer, and move calmly past distractions.
