The COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 illustrated that we must be ready for the next outbreak in order to be able to provide quick and accurate information about the disease to policymakers and to plan efficient innervations to control the disease outbreak.
This community talk seminar dives into different aspects of infectious disease modelling and monitoring, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Three talks about Malaria and HIV/AIDS illustrate different approaches to modelling and monitoring. The seminar starts with an overview presentation about opportunities and ongoing projects sponsored by VLIRUOS.
