Washington State Ferries: Adventure awaits

Описание: Washington State Ferries (WSF) is the largest public operating ferry system in the U.S. The iconic ferry boats have been featured in popular shows like Grey’s Anatomy, and taking a ride on one is a rite of passage for any Pacific Northwest newcomers.

We spent a day on the Seattle-Bainbridge route taking in the views, learning about the history of the ferries + the challenges the system faces with a lack of maritime workers, and what riders should know about their routes, tickets, and experience aboard.
