When feeding a sample into granulator for chromatic purposes, it's always very interesting to import something where a single note is either being modulated for it's tone to be changing, or it's changing octaves (still the same note). When playing with grain size and how granulator skips between the grains of the sample (preferably in a non linear way) the results are awesome. It's interesting also to set it to loop mode, where you can set a probability for some grains to be reversed. Depending on the sample it can work great. Try it with anything!
