In November, FORUM-ASIA convened a regional consultation with human rights defenders from diverse countries in Asia to examine the current state of civic space, share experiences, and identify strategies to safeguard freedoms. The discussions revealed alarming regional trends but also highlighted the remarkable resilience of defenders who continue to fight for their rights despite significant challenges.
