Years ago, I couldn't even dream of being able to afford an expensive bag. When I got invited to my first ever fashion event, it felt like I made it. But after this catastrophe, I've really started to think twice about buying luxury fashion. I'm grateful I accomplished my goal and got that boutique experience, but today's luxury just isn't what it used to be. As disappointed as I am to have wasted money on something I thought was worthwhile, I guess in the long run, it actually is saving me more.
