Weather Alert: Depression Moving to Gujarat-Rajasthan | Flooding Rains 30 July - 4 August

Описание: Namaskar friends, you are watching Absolutemet. In this video we are discussing Depression BOB-03, its latest position, track and rainfall forecast for the next 4 days.

The depression is currently over Chhattisgarh and moving west to west-northwest. It will move towards Vidarbha and Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. By 31 July to 1 August it is likely to reach South Gujarat and South-East Rajasthan as a low pressure area, and then weaken over Rajasthan around 2 to 3 August.

For rainfall, today and 31 July, South Madhya Pradesh can expect moderate to heavy rain, but intensity may be less than earlier forecasts.

Central and North-West Maharashtra along with Vidarbha may see heavy to very heavy rain, and some places could get more than 200 mm.

In Gujarat, rain will increase in South Gujarat from 31 July. The peak will be on 1 and 2 August with very heavy to extremely heavy rain expected over South, Central and North Gujarat. Saurashtra and Kutch will also see widespread heavy rain. Since Gujarat had floods just a week ago, people should stay alert.

In Rajasthan, rain will pick up in South Rajasthan from 31 July. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in South and South-East Rajasthan on 1 and 2 August.

The system’s moisture may also bring heavy rain to South-East Pakistan between 1 and 3 August.
