We head from the forest to the desert for a week to boondock on BLM. The nearly 360 degree mountain backdrop melts into the bleak (but beautiful) desert foreground to make a serene free camping spot. We also hit up Great Sand Dunes National Park at sunrise for some spectacular hiking and views. All places we visited are listed below!
