This is my HK91 rifle. This is the HK G3, but the United States Civilian legal semi automatic preban version. HK did not put a paddle magazine release on this and welded that hole so none could be modified to it. This was done to show it was a “Sporting Rifle” which in reality just makes it a pain to reload magazines as the button is too far out of reach. Differences between a real HK91 verses a Clone made by Century, Dakota Tactical, or PTR are a few but the most prominent is the metal HK receiver with plastic grip vs the clone polymer receivers. Very cool gun, only roughly 48,000 made it into the US before the import ban so I’m very fortunate to be able to show you this. No more are coming from HK, only 3rd party clones.
