No Taxi Stand in Tauni Devi: 25 Cabs Forced to Park on the Roadside

Описание: No Taxi Stand in Tauni Devi: 25 Cabs Forced to Park on the Roadside

Around 25 taxis operate in Tauni Devi (Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh), yet the town has no designated taxi stand. Drivers are forced to park on the roadside near Uhal Chowk and Hospital Chowk, facing constant fear of challans, while the parked vehicles choke traffic and create jam-like situations. Local taxi drivers are now demanding that the administration earmark suitable land for an organised taxi stand — a move they say will ease drivers' hardship and keep traffic flowing, especially for patients and attendants visiting the Tauni Devi hospital.
