RALCAM 360° Articulating Endoscope With 5" Screen Review

An endoscope, or borescope as it's sometimes referred to, is an absolutely invaluable tool when you need to see inside something that has a very small orifice to get into. Essentially, this is a camera at the end of a long, flexible stick. This endoscope is unique because the camera is actually TWO cameras in one! There's a camera at the tip, but also a side-looking camera, and you can switch between the two. This is great to see what's ahead down a pipe, for example, but you can switch to the side camera and see the sidewall of the pipe as well.

This endoscope records in 1080p, and can also take still images. It includes a 32GB microSD card for recording and saving pictures. The screen is bright and easy to see, and measures 5". The entire unit is rechargeable, which is super-handy since you don't have to worry about having batteries around for it. It should run for 4 hours on a full charge. The front camera has 6 LEDs and the side has an additional LED. The LEDs are plenty powerful for what is needed for the image because everything is at close range, and the brightness is adjustable. The camera head is 6.5mm (1/4 inch), so as long as the hole you have is slightly larger than that, the camera can get in. The camera head and cable is 100% waterproof so it can go into water pipes. Camera cable length is 5 feet.

Best thing about this camera is the end of it is articulating, you can move it around to look in any direction. The part with the screen that you hold has a joystick that will move the camera around. Makes peering inside holes a lot more fun!

An absolutely indispensable tool the first time you need one, and you WILL end up needing one at one point or another!
