Описание: There is a lot more you can do with MDC1200, I'm just doing a quick showcase of the emergency function. I have both radios set on one channel / one frequency simplex. only Motorola radios (aside from some Kenwood) can transmit and receive MDC data, that's why you can hear it on a scanner and get no data from it but some scanners sometimes have the ability to read MDC to an extent. In GMRS, some people use there mdc radio id as the last 3 of there call sign or for repeater access.
