final rinse action in my friends washing machine, after a fastwash 60 wash. it is 7 years old and in pretty good nick. its only ever had a new pump and belt, and is very heavily used, and often overloaded.. this just proves that constantly washing at 60 and 90 really does prolong the life of your machine. The shocks are quite gone now, but even they do not need changing yet as they do not make the machine work any differently and thats good for 7 years.
UPDATE:
after 7 long years of heavy use and only a new pump and belt it has finally broken down for good. yesterday (6/4/13) the washing all came out stinking of smoke- the heater had blown but sadly also blew the PCB. So we went and got them a temporary hotpoint wm65 in graphite, it doesnt look right in the kitchen because its not white, but hey ho, you cant go wrong for a spare machine for £25 can you!
the hotpoints drum and some other bits have been put into the wt540.
