Dr. Kenar D. Jhaveri is a Professor of Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and Associate Chief in the Division of Kidney Diseases and Hypertension at Northwell Health. He is a world leader and pioneer in the subspecialty of onconephrology, which focuses on the kidney complications of cancer and cancer-related kidney dysfunction. Dr. Jhaveri's research includes glomerular disease and cancer-related kidney issues, and he has been recognized with the American Society of Nephrology Distinguished Leader Award. He is also known for his innovative approach to nephrology education, using blogs, concept maps, and social media, and is the founder and program director of the Galdi Fellowship of Glomerular Diseases and Onconephrology at Northwell Health
