You can make your bathroom faucets shine again by making a homemade cleaning mixture from baking soda, a little toothpaste, and dishwashing liquid; mix well and scrub the faucets with the mixture and an old toothbrush or sponge.

If you spill sauce, ketchup, or similar on your countertop or kitchen table, get a sheet of parchment paper (or paper towel), lay it on a cutting board, and slide it over the board while you push it up against the spill; this will help you "load" the spilled condiment onto the paper, removing it from the countertop in one, easy step.
