Welcome to the third video in this series on the overhaul of a 1973 built Dorman 2LB diesel engine. Starting its life powering a British Rail signal box standby generator this engine is now undergoing overhaul as a spare engine for a pair of Motor-Rail Company built simplex locomotives operating on the Isle of man steam railway. In this video we complete the re-assembly of the engine from paint to test running. Tme to make some noise.
