Is sex just sex, or does sex have meaning?
The human person is constantly communicate. And there is one way express ourselves that is often forgotten. It is through our physical bodies. Our bodies in themselves have an incredibly powerful ability to mean things.

Have you looked into someones eyes lately. What were they saying. I'm hurt, lonely, sad, ashamed?
Have you noticed someones, lips, eyebrows and face. What were they saying: I'm happy, excited, exuberant, disappointed?

When is comes to sex, what are our bodies saying? What is the message we are communicating to the one we are physically intimate with?

Is Catholicism against sex?
John Paul II's theology of the bod, teaches that sexual intimacy is more than just sex. The body is saying, I am totally yours. You are totally mine. I hold nothing back from you. See me and receive me in totality of who I am. I see you and receive you in the totality of who you are. I offer myself to you free, total, fruitfully without reserve. I am one with you. I love you.

Sexual intimacy is design by God to be a beautiful thing - it's design to communicate the deepest longing of every person - that is love. And it more than a communicate of love, it is a participation in it. But what do we call it when we say one thing but then do another? It's called a lie. And we've all experienced someone lying to us. It hurts.

Why is sex for marriage only? Because sex outside of marriage is How is it possible that we could be lying with our bodies. How?

One way - through pre-martial sex. Why? Because with our bodies we am saying I am total yours, let us be one. But there is no commit to this. Are bodies are one, but not are bank accounts, not our living arrangements, not our future. Per-martial sex is a lie with the body. And it hurts people. A girl has sex with a guy and doesn't hear back from him and she feels used (why she was lied to). A man has sex with a woman and he feels ashamed? Why, because with his body he as lied to her, got pleasure without commitment, and now doesn't want to face her.

Sexuality intimacy before marriage is a sin against chastity.

Sex is not just sex. God has put right into our bodies to the ability to love. It is a powerful thing. And with it comes great responsibility.

Sex, in the right context of marriage, it is good and beautiful - it is true.
In the wrong context, outside of marriage it causes great pain and hurt - and it is a lie.
