In this video, I describe the boundary layer in a flow. The boundary layer is the zone where flow speed is reduced due to friction with the surface. At some point in the boundary layer, very close to the surface, the flow speed is so low that the flow becomes laminar. This is the laminar (or viscous) sublayer.
