Yes, escapism has its place and is a valid way of consuming books, however, in a world of declining literacy, book bans, misinformation, and rising authoritarianism, the simple act of reading and owning a book is already a small rebellion.
In this video, I talk about 5 books that have radicalized me, by sharpening my thinking, challenging systems and changing how I see the world, and also share the 3 books I want to read next to keep my mind sharp. And of course, two very honorable mentions!
