This cinematic aerial film reveals the historic skyline, iconic landmarks, and the extraordinary sight of the Motława River - frozen for the first time in 15 years! - turned spontaneously by citizens into a living winter promenade filled with evening walkers and ice skaters.
Colorful twilight, cold Baltic air, and glowing city lights create a unique atmosphere where history meets nature in one unforgettable moment during the coldest winter in years.
You will see the frozen Motława River, the Old Port Crane, St. Mary’s Church, the Main Town Hall with its picturesque clock tower topped by a gold-plated figurine of King Sigismund II Augustus, as well as the Long Market, Mariacka Street, the Fish Market plaza with its charming carousel, and many other icons of Gdańsk’s unforgettable beauty.
Filmed using DJI Mini 5 Pro in Gdańsk, Poland, over four consecutive evenings in early February 2026.
