Day 2 of #ScienceLiteracyWeek! Today we are featuring the work of Thomas Hastings, a researcher from Appalachian State University studying evaporative water loss of wood frogs here in Churchill, MB.
Established in 1976, the Churchill Northern Studies Centre (CNSC) is an independent, non-profit research and education facility located 23 km east of the town of Churchill, Manitoba. The CNSC is one of the most accessible northern field research stations, open year-round, in Canada. As a community-based organization serving Canadian universities, government agencies and international organizations, the CNSC provides an ideal setting for field-based research and education programs for world-class scientists and educators. During 2018 Science Literacy week we will be highlighting some of the outstanding science happening here in Canada’s Subarctic near Churchill by posting a new video each day!
