Описание: In this Day 1 VLOG we cover checking in, our first impressions and our first evening in Heythrop Park. We were invited to stay at Warner Leisure Hotels - Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire. Warner Leisure Hotels are often refereed to as a cruise ship on land and we were keen to see this first hand.

We stayed in the Longview room which is located inside the old Manor House and offered some exceptional facilities, and the view was second to none. We have put together this tour and review of the Longview room to give you a clear indication of the amenities that Warner Leisure Hotels - Heythrop Park has to offer.

Heythrop Park is set in 440 acres of glorious parkland, within it you’ll find a choice of three restaurants, a selection of lounge areas, and two entertainment venues. There’s also a spa and an 18-hole golf course. There are 311 rooms in a variety of styles that appeal to every taste and every budget. Each room offers supreme comfort, with a pleasant mix of contemporary and vintage touches, and lots of little complimentary treats such as fluffy white robes to use during your stay and a selection of luxury toiletries. There are a number of activities that are available during the course of your stay, such as, dance and fitness classes to archery, rifle shooting, Nordic walking, quizzes, and history tours. There is also a 18-hole Bainbridge Course that is of championship standard, with generous fairways and a par of 72.

We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.

We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.

We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.
