Carrie Biondi, senior director of marketing and operations at the Sanford Health Foundation, goes to work every day to lift up the stories of people who are going through their hardest moments. She’s passionate about her work because she’s been there.
In 2019, newly pregnant with her second child, Carrie’s joy quickly mixed with sorrow when she learned of her sister’s terminal cancer diagnosis. To make things worse, Carrie was diagnosed with a rare pregnancy complication.
But in the middle of life’s biggest challenges, Carrie took a step back to focus on what really matters and did everything she could to care for her family and hold on to hope. Now, years later, that pivotal time in her life has shaped her approach to her career.
