At ADCC 2019, the 170 lb Australian entered the absolute division and shocked the grappling world by submitting multiple heavyweight world champions. What followed was one of the most legendary runs in ADCC history and cemented Lachlan Giles as one of the sport’s greatest giant slayers.

This documentary explores Lachlan’s competitive career, friendship with Craig Jones, famous ADCC run, his battles against elite opponents such as Marcelo Garcia and Gordon Ryan, and the evolution of his technical approach to grappling. It also looks at his influence as a coach, the creation of Submeta, and how his ideas continue to shape modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
