A man pumping gas at a Nebraska service station narrowly avoided serious injury when an out-of-control vehicle crashed just inches away from him, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
Security footage shows the man washing his windshield when a car careened into view, jumped the curb and flipped on its side. The vehicle grazed the man's leg before coming to rest at the gas station.
The man was seen walking over to assist the driver, who escaped with minor injuries, authorities said. Deputies plan to cite the driver for reckless driving and driving without a license, valid registration or proof of insurance.
