Biolectric are farm scale Anaerobic Mono Digesters that create electricity and hot water from dairy slurry. These award winning systems allow dairy farmers to turn their waste dairy slurry into valuable renewable energy.
The systems work by simply recreating the environment of a cows stomach and further digesting dairy slurry to release environmentally damaging methane which is then filtered and turned into biogas.
Renewable biogas will then be used as fuel in a specially designed engine to create Electricity and heat for the farm. The slurry is then turned to digestate which because of the way it is broken down becomes a very valuable fertilizer, further adding to the economical and sustainable benefits of a biolectric plant.
