How to prune a peach tree or other stone fruit (apricot nectarine plum). Pruning your fruit trees correctly will increase their production, and create a much more efficient plant. With your stone fruits such as peaches, apricots, plums and so on, you really want to remove any inward growing branches. The same is to be said for branches growing downwards or ones that criss cross. Air out the center and I usually chop the top like I did in the video. I tend to keep my trees canopy about 6-8 feet wide and around 8 feet tall. This allows for a much easier tree to manage as far as harvesting and pruning goes. If you are in Arizona, or other warm climates be sure to get a low chill hour variety such as a desert gold to make sure you get production! Hope everyone has An awesome weekend! ✌️🌱🍑⚔️
