In Invincible Mark returns to Earth and reunites with Eve who looks a little different in the ten months he’d been gone
He doesn’t take much time to transition back to the superhero life on Earth and one day Duplikate invites them both over to their house for dinner
They fly to the countryside and change into civilian clothes before knocking on the door
Immortal and Duplikate answer and welcome them in, and Kate compliments Eve saying she looks amazing
They also introduce their two kids, Abraham and Mary who will soon have their own powers
Eve looks distraught at the sight of the kids but the group settle down for dinner before Mark notices anything wrong
Kate talks about her childbirth, Mark talks about his role in the Viltrumite war and Kate even mentions how at one point, Eve’s dad thought she and Eve were together
The Immortal speaks of a past life where he was Abraham Lincoln before we cut to after dinner, where Eve is helping Kate wash the kids in the tub
She tells Eve to hold Abe while she washes Mary and as Eve holds him in her hands, she starts to get emotional, giving Abe back to Kate before leaving the room crying
Mark comes outside to comfort Eve, wondering what she is upset about and Eve finally reveals what she had done while Mark was away
