In this one I knit a simple project – a set of coasters, but with a twist. It was my childhood project, my first finished knitting item. And now I’m knitting it in a way that I did back then. Using my early style of knitting and casting on – that is very different from my current preferred methods.
And in a process I’m remembering how it all began. And I’m realizing that the way I learnt affects how I approach knitting and designing to this day.
