Episode 6(w) - Restitution: (Babylon, the Fake Church)

Описание: Restitution is the practice in which an offender is expected to put right what he/she has done wrong by restoring what he/she has stolen, damaged or defiled to the original owner.
The practice of restitution was given as a law in the ‘Old Testament” section of the Bible but it was not mandated in the “New Testament” of the Bible in that almost all the instructions regarding restitution were stated in only the “Old Testament” section of the Bible (Exodus 22:1-12).
The original Hebrew term used for restitution in the Bible was “Shalam” which can be interpreted as “peace”.
-The event involving Zacchaeus in Luke 19:5-10 does not mean restitution was also done in the “New Testament” section of the Bible because:
a). Jesus, the Christ, was not the One who commanded or taught Zacchaeus to do the restitution;
b). Jesus, the Christ, did not declare that Zacchaeus was saved on the basis of the restitution he (Zacchaeus) promised to do.
-The practice of restitution has not and cannot bring peace to the mind of the offender or to the society at large because:
1). No man can remember all those he/she has offended, and as such no man can carry out the restitution of all the offences he/she has committed;
2). There are offences whose restitution cannot be completely done e.g murder, adultery, rape etc.
-The members of the True Church do not practice restitution because the Christ and the Holy Spirit dwelling in them make them to know, understand and believe that they are not responsible for their actions and inactions both in the past, present and future in that they believe that ALL responsibilities of All actions and inactions of All beings belong to The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY Alone (Philippians 2:13).
-However, the physical practice of restitution under the “Old Covenant” was used by GOD to point to the spiritual restitution of all things (i.e Responsibilities, Glory, Praise and Thanksgiving) which were hitherto taken away from GOD in the souls of men back to HIM (GOD) in the souls of the Elects of GOD using the Christ and the Holy Spirit, which dwell in them (the Elects) under the “New Covenant” (Acts 3:20-21 & Ephesians 2:13-14).
