Off-duty officer stops brutal street attack

In central Warsaw, a man assaulted a woman in the street, hitting and kicking her repeatedly. An off-duty police officer on his way to work stepped in within seconds and stopped the attacker.

The suspect, reportedly intoxicated, has been detained. Authorities are now investigating the motive behind the assault.
