Airplane! (1980) is a classic comedy directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker.

The film stars Robert Hays as Ted Striker, a former fighter pilot who must overcome his fear of flying when the crew and many passengers become ill from food poisoning during a flight. With the help of flight attendant Elaine Dickinson, played by Julie Hagerty, Ted attempts to safely land the plane.
