Kollam: Veteran leader C. Divakaran was excluded from the CPI National Council. C. N. Chandran, Sathyan Mokeri and Kamala Sadanandan also have been excluded. Divakaran responded that he is not ready to continue with the help of anybody. ‘I was excluded because I don’t have any godfathers. But I’m not disappointed. No need to be included in the committee in the care of Sudhakar Reddy. C. Divakaran will always be C. Divakaran. I don’t know if the state leadership has spoken for me,’ he said.
Five new members from Kerala are included in the national council. N. Rajan, N. Anirudhan, P. Vasantham, K. P. Rajendran, E. Chandrasekharan and Mahesh Kakkath (candidate member) are the new faces in the council.
