A Rush To Beat ALL Rushes! | Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition

Card Order: Remember that each build order has flexibility dependent on the matchup.

3 villagers-4 Kanya Horsemen-7 Aenna-6 Aenna-6 Tomahawks-Upgrades/600 wood

1. Gather up your resources and get your villagers in queue. Have one villager herding your hunts while the rest are chopping for 200 wood. As the Haudenosaunee you can see all trade post sites so send your War Chief to build a trade post on a trade route as soon as you get to 200 wood then move those villagers over to food. While this is happening, send your travois to build a forward longhouse for vision. If there is no trade route on the map then this build becomes more difficult but you can skip this step and instead just macro for age up.

2. Age up with 15 villagers using The Messenger. This age up will arrive very quickly so immediately split your villagers with 8 on food and 7 on wood. You also have the option of keeping them on food to get 500 food in order to send the Town Center big button technology: "Haudenosaunee Scouting Party" for 5 tomahawks.

3. Upon age up, Immediately send the travois you get to build a forward war hut and set it as your military unit shipment point. You should also be sending in your 4 kanya horsemen shipment. Once they arrive, use them to raid your opponent and take out his settlers. Its important that you keep these horsemen alive as long as possible so don't leave them idle.

Optional: There is a greedier economic version where you send the 5 villager card before sending the horsemen and starting the rush. This delays the attack but gives you a huge economic edge.

4. Get units in queue. It may be easier to produce tomahawks and still make settlers since their food cost isn't as high but if your opponent is building heavy infantry than macro for aenna production. Make sure you continue to build longhouses, a market, and produce villagers from your TC since you want to be developing an economy behind this push. All villagers need to be on food and wood to keep up a steady unit production, only switch to coin once you are looking to go to Age III.

5. Send in your unit shipments as available to continue to mass. The key is not to sacrifice units but to take out settlers when available while draining your opponents resources. Once you have enough units, go for the military production buildings first, then houses, then TC. You want to rush your opponent to put them on the back foot but you want to ensure that you keep up the pressure to eventually overwhelm. Also try to build a corral during this time to get Kanya horsemen onto the field to help with raiding and to counter skirmisher units.
Note: Keep your War Chief alive and present throughout combat. He gives a huge health bonus to nearby units and so is vital to the strength of this rush build.
6. Once you have your steady unit production and a significant mass, capitalize on it by sending in your unit upgrades. Prioritize infantry upgrades first. You can also send the 600 wood card to get another war hut and a corral so you can significantly increase output and dedicate to the Age II fight. Ensure that you do this sooner rather than later to maximize your window of opportunity to win early. The 5 villager card is also a very good card to mix in to gain even more of an edge on your opponent in Age II.

Situational: If your opponent's defenses have held and you are taking high casualties then at a certain point you need to make the transition to Age III. Try your best to anticipate early when you need to start aging up. Set 10 villagers to gather coin and send the 600 coin shipment if you can to help with the age up. Choose The Elder as your age up option and begin building your Age III units once you age up which would typically be forest prowlers with musket riders. 20 villagers+ on coin would be optimal for Age III since your composition will be coin heavy. The goal is to go to Age III right after your opponent does or even beat them to Age III if you start to transition early enough.
