The leaders of the U.S., Australia, India and Japan have kicked off their Quad summit in Tokyo, where a wide range of issues from economics to a free and open Indo-Pacific are expected to top the agenda.
With the bloc widely seen as a counter to China's growing influence in the region,... the meeting is expected to stress international law compliance, with a new initiative aimed at addressing illegal fishing in the Indo-Pacific set to be unveiled.
Russia's war on Ukraine also expected to be discussed.
After their second-in person meeting in less than a year, the leaders will issue a statement after the summit.
