A ski tour and summit laps on Helena East Ridge in Banff National Park. We skinned to the top in mixed conditions before skiing 3 laps from just below the summit to ~100 vertical meters below tree line in boot top powder.
No issues with avalanche terrain on this tour - it's one of the safer backcountry ski tours in the park if you know where you're going. There can be exposure to overhead hazards off of Helena Ridge if you go further west than we did.
